Question: Can you tell what would be the nearest tube station and how far. Are there local supermarkets, restaurants etc in walking distance? Is the prie figure per person or per night? Any other info about the apartment and area grateful. |
Answer: Sloane Square, District Line, station is within 5 minutes walk. If you click through to the listing and click on the yellow Map button you can see that the apartment is near King\'s Road, which is a well-known shopping street, mostly fastionable clothes but also restaurants and a variety of the normal shops, chemists etc. Peter Jones department store is on Sloane Square, which also has various restaurants and shops. The price is per flat per night, not per person. The area generally is one of the most pleasant areas in London combining residential and shopping. Sloane Rangers was a nickname given some years back to fashionable young persons who hung out in this area, so you can guess it is somewhat posh. The apartments here are on Draycott Place, a side street to the main Kings Road, so it is fairly quiet, eg not a bus route.
