| Bayswater From our point of view, a first stop off for tourists, and has both budget and not so budget accommodation. On the map: between Paddington and Notting Hill Gate, just north of Kensington Gardens. Transport: Bayswater is on the Circle and District Lines. Paddington ad Notting Hill Gate basically serve the same lines, plus Bakerloo and Central.. 6 stops to Oxford Circus (for the West End - walk the rest). Lancaster Gate and Queensway nearby, served by Central Line only - so same as Notting Hill Gate. Our view: a west London tourist solution. |
